I thought before the Christmas postings started happening I should probably go ahead and get our now-outdated Thanksgiving pictures posted. This time of year just tends to get away from me!
Kate celebrated her first Thanksgiving in the most appropriate way possible--with her first taste of turkey! Let me tell you--pureed turkey looks (and I assume tastes?) about as good as you could imagine it would. Yuck. For whatever reason I never made homemade meat baby food for Anna (that was one type of baby food that I bought), but I've decided to make it for Kate. Let me reiterate...yuck. We need to get some of these teeth coming in soon so we can graduate up to the finely diced meat...that's much more palatable...
We were at my parents' house for Thanksgiving, and the girls had so much fun with their cousins Sydney and Natalie! I somehow decided it would be a good idea to get the girls (working) microphones as a treat for our visit. We quickly decided they should be outside-only toys. But, the girls had a blast making up songs on the swing (and I think Aunt Kel and I had about as much fun singing with them!). Kate seems like she can't wait to be able to "mix it up" with these girls when she gets just a bit bigger...
