Of the many Christmas celebrations we take the girls to, I think I definitely found my favorite this year--the Children's Museum Holiday Party! The girls had so much fun, and it was so neat to be there with lots of "special" activities planned, but without it being too terribly crowded.
Anna adored Mrs. Snow-woman (is that her official name?). Kate was more than a little freaked out by her, though, so watched from afar.
Life-sized Candy Land? Anna still talks about it...
As with everything the Museum does, the gingerbread man/house decorating was so well organized and planned. The girls had so much fun with their little "kits" for decorating.
Now that's some serious gingerbread artwork...
Anna also loved making an ornament that really lit up...
...with an LED/battery unit that she put together herself! It warmed her electrical-engineer-Daddy's heart...
And, of course, we can't be at the Museum without spending some serious time in the puppet theatre...
A great time had by all!
