We embarked on our annual tradition of cookie decorating at the Maples house this year. Oh, what fun we all had! Kate couldn't even wait til we got her icing before she started eating her first cookie. Oh well...as Whitney kept saying, "The only rule is that there are no rules." Eat away.

We were actually pretty impressed with the cookie production rate of these little ones. It was like our own little very merry cookie sweat shop.
Kate quickly realized that the cookie was really an unnecessary interference between her and the glitter icing. Forget the cookie--just put the icing directly on the finger. Brilliant.
After some kiddo cleanup, Matt and Melanie supervised the little girls' first attempt at Heart + Soul. Or, just banging on the piano.
